Food for thought - Hello May.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Unfortunately with tumblr, you can't get the origins of these photos.

Look back and think about the things that you said you'd do but never got to, and use this month to do it! Make it new, make it fresh!

It's a new month, a new view!

Pirate and Zombie Yoga Positions

Pirate and Zombie Yoga Positions by Rob Osborne

Going through tumblr, and i came across this. I just had to share it. The positions are spot on, but the illustrations just top it off with such creativity! Do check out the artists website + tumblr!

Time to do some zombie pirate yoga! WARRIOR TWO!

Two girls + a fashion event.

Fashion, wine and good company. It was a good night indeed.

We enjoyed white wine. Which is something that i have grown to love, and can't get enough of!

Amber Chia doing her thing - and despite how fierce she looks - she is an absolute doll! Met her a couple of times, and she is uber humble. It's hard to find models who aren't so stuck up in the arse after fame.

Nash's soft hair man!

Our outfits for the night.
Nash is wearing a amazing mix of pastels from Zara, and i am wearing cut-off jean shorts, and a jacket from Cotton On.

I am in LOVE with my new shoes - i've been searching for this pair for months! And getting them on a bargain, there is soooo much satisfaction! Though i'm still recovering from the blisters these babies gave me, it was all worth it!

That's all for now! It's been a busy week, and i can't post up too often!
More soon! xoxo

Today, i ran.

This entire week i have been like this;

Photobucket

And i would come home after work, and think about how i should get off my ass and workout;

Photobucket

It's been 3 months nearly since i worked out properly - so today i decided it was time. So i went the park and i did my thing. (Though, my Patrick was missing - she'll be there tomorrow)

Photobucket

I was all like, "You can go haaaard or you can go hooooome" ... But then after an 15minutes - i was pretty much like this.

Photobucket

But i pulled through! Yeeeeey!

Photobucket

So, take that procrastination and lazyness! Booooooyaaaaah!

Let's hope this keeps up - going for another run tomorrow - and for the rest of the week as well!

Yeah - that is all for now. I just had to post up these GIFs. So funny.

Have a good Saturday ya'll!

pass the drink

I need a drink. Baileys, a glass of wine, even a good tequila shot. It has been one hell of a week. But i've enjoyed it. I'm just mentally exhausted.
A little annoyed and fed up with a couple of things, but nothing that can't be handled. I just need some R&R, and i'll be back on track.

Preparing my workout playlist - it's really time to get back on my running. I am soooo out of shape, i need to push myself.

Despite this mood-swing, i'm hoping for a good weekend - so letz do thiz!

A little birthday celebration

10th April was a day to celebrate! Bill turned 23 - with a cozy dinner and drinks, it was a simple and fun evening. I would love every weekend to be like this. Good food, good people, good wine.

Happy Birthday, babe! And a special thanks to Bash Nash and Yasin for us make his birthday a lil' bit more special then an ordinary day!

The food at Ben's General Food Store is AMAZING - We ordered like there was tomorrow, getting a taste of nearly everything on the menu - there was no regret!

After dinner we moved on to a bar on the Bangsar strip.. i am horrible at remembering names nowadays - but it was a chilled place with Norah Jones playing in the background - wine, whiskey, vodka, and shirley temple on the table. BLISS!

Unfortunately not that many photos were taken - but i guess it's cause we're just having a good time and basking in the moment!

Need to do this more often!

A night of J-J-Jessie J!

It's about time i posted about this AMAZING NIGHT.
There are several people i've always wanted to see live, and Jessie J was my top 3.
At first, i didn't think we could go - but 2 days before the concert, Sam's editor got us passes and we were in! The entire show was surreal!

Jessie J is an absolute STUNNING and an amazing performing - with so much energy and power in the voice. She was everywhere and also go my emotions everywhere. I teared up, laughed and screamed and her performance. Its rare to see a performer really interact with the crowd, but Jessie J is one of those rare ones. She brought up a fan on stage, she took the time to look at everyone in the crowd.

The opening band was BLUSH - they were so entertaining!

The plus side of being the media is that you get to avoid thromping over the crowds, and you get to sit in your little area - though it may not be up front - it's free, and your there.. so who cares right! And they serve you little finger foods and drinks that make everything so much better.
Tune Talk is by far the best hosts when it comes to the media - (but this is only judging from the 3 concerts we'v been to - two of which were held by tune talk)

I spent the entire week in a dream - with her songs on replay everyday - she is by far one of the best performers/musicians i've ever heard!

Also - I am lovin' her on BBC The Voice UK - you guys need to watch it!

Over all - It was definitely a night to remember -
HEARTBEATS FOR LIFE.

Exploring the escape!

A some point, everyone needs a break. This weekend, i took that opportunity. Since dad was preparing for an event at the Pullman Resort in Putrajaya, we were given a room for the weekend. BLISS.

I just wanted to get away from the city-life, and take some time to sight-see and enjoy the simple things. This was the perfect place for that.

Putrajaya is like a ghost town, but not in the bad way. It felt so safe to go cycling or running, but since i was there for just a day, i wasn't able to do that.

The hotel on it own was the best escape away from home.

The city was filled with such modern arcitecture. It was like a different dimension!

Going to bed and waking up to this view was probably the highlight of my whole trip. To see this pure natural beauty, it just fills me up completely.

Caught up on organizing some files from work, watched a show or two, had icecream treats with mum while exploring the city, took a tour around the hotel, stuffed myself with some hotel breakfast - who doesn't love that! I also got to spend quality time with my parents, nothing beats that!

Though i didn't get much sleep, and i'm dreading work tomorrow because my mind seems to be functioning slow on ideas, it was a refreshing getaway, and i'm ready to dive into the new week!

xoxo
